This patriotic cocktail is as delightful as it looks. Quench your thirst this 4th of July with this amazing Drink Recipe that I whipped up!
You will need:
lots of Blackberries
a handful of Mint Leaves
8 Cascade Ice Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade
2 big bottles Sparkling Water – lemon flavored
1/2 liter Vodka – Smirnoff Raspberry
Add your blackberries and mint leaves. Mix in your sparkly. Muddle them together. Let the vodka flow. Enjoy.
The Cascade Ice sparkling drinks are those thin & tall bottles you can typically buy at the grocery store for $1 each. They are 0 cal and very very good! The sparkling waters are also 0 calories and delicious, but they’re not pink so obviously I needed both.
I created this 4th of July drink recipe because I wanted some flavor, I wanted some fizz, and I wanted some fun. P.S. The only calories in the entire drink come from the vodka. Making it about 100 calories per drink.
It just so happens that I don’t own a big fancy beverage dispenser (though I would love to!) You see, I walk and scoot everywhere in LA, so that would be rather difficult to lug around. So for the sake of my party (a fabulous Memorial Day 2015), I mixed my cocktail in these two pitchers you see pictured. Not all the liquid fit, so as people drank it I mixed in more alcohol and bubbly. If you can’t figure out how much of each liquid to mix for yourself in your own dispenser, just feel it out! Afterall, this is a party… not a rule book!
I almost forgot the most important steps:
Enjoy, share, drink, repeat. Stay hydrated, don’t forget to eat, don’t drink and drive. Let me know how it goes.
If you like it, share it!
