We all love smoothies. Especially in the summer when the fruit is fresh and the air is hot!
I made this one today after I got back from the gym and it was the perfect refreshment, a strong flavor and the texture of a frappucino… all for 100 calories a serving.
This recipe makes 2 glasses (2 servings)
What you need
- 1 full cup of kale leaves (about 4 stalks)
- 1 cup pineapple chunks (or 1/2 of a fresh pineapple)
- 2 cups coconut milk
- 1/2 cup crushed ice
Combine ingredients and blend! The more you blend, the more frothy it will become.
I added the pineapple stalk into the cup which can be used as a spoon. Or a serving suggestion for children to make a healthy smoothie more exciting. …Enjoy!
